Following the disgorgement, a liqueur called “liqueur d’expedition” is added to each bottle. This liqueur is made up of wine and sugar, the proportion of which varies according to the type of Champagne that one wishes to obtain.
- Brut Nature : 0 bis 3g sugar per liter
- Extra Brut : 0 bis 6g sugar per liter
- Brut : 5 bis 12g sugar per liter
- Extra Dry : 12 bis 17g sugar per liter
- Sec : 17 bis 32g sugar per liter
- Demi-Sec : 32 bis 50g sugar per liter
- Doux : mehr als 50g sugar per liter
