Chablis  - Domaine Verret

The Verret family story started in 1750 and since, one generation after another, the passion and the love for their terroirs is still intact.

In 1956, when everyone was selling in bulk to the négociants” (traders), Goerges and Josianne Verret are already thinking ahead, like they are still doing today, and are increasing the volume of the bottles production. The name Verret then starts to be known and recognized and is today paired with the quality of the great burgundy wine’s finest expressions.

For the Domaine Verret, their know-how is a mix between respecting traditions and the work of the past generations but also using contemporary techniques serving the quality, the finesse and the richness of their wines. They want to transport you to their vines with each sip and every tasting.

Today, Bruno Verret is the fifth generation winemaker and he is in charge of the domaine and vineyards. Their vines are split on a total area of 58 hectares, making up a patchwork of different soil types that offer an exceptional diversity of terroirs. This particularity gives each of their wines a very distinct character.

Domaine Verret produce 8 appellations : Bourgogne Aligoté, Saint Bris, Bourgogne Côtes d’Auxerre (white, red, rosé), Chablis, Chablis 1er cru, Irancy, Crémant, Coteaux Bourguignons (red, rosé).
