25 years ago that Eric took over from his father, Pierre , as head of this family estate of 17 hectares perpetuating an old tradition : be winegrower from father to son.

It was in 1989 that Eric, passionate winegrower, who after having spending his childhood in the vineyards to observe and help his parents, joined his father’s business. At the age of 18 years, he becomes aide familial and prepares a school of viticulture in Bourgogne. The business hand over and transfer is done slowly but surely. After graduating, Eric moved along with his father and in 1992 Pascal his brother decides finally to join the family estate after a studies in the water and forest.

In 1998, after their father retirement, the two brothers decided to become associates and keep their father Pierre with a knowledgeable and critical eye as their advisor on the estate operations.

Give the best of oneselfthe to obtain every year a best cru and a very good vintage, such is the motto of Pierre Marchand family and it is by assembling their best soils that they try every year to get a delicate perfume, a sparking liveliness as well as a remarkable length in the mouth. Indeed, the typicality and the quality of the soil are due to the vintage but also to the creativity of the winemaker.

Pierre Marchand family grow, breed and vinify its wines itself in the more traditional way which allowed them to obtaining several awards in France as in Pouilly sur Loire, Mâcon and even Paris as well as in the “Guide Hachette”.
